The Liminal Life Approach
I believe that life's most profound moments occur in the liminal spaces—the thresholds between what was and what will be. Liminal Life Integration invites the incorporation and seamless blending of liminality into one's life journey using a unique blend of…

End of Life Doula Support
and Grief Guidance
It is a holistic approach to embracing the transitional phases of life, integrating them into one's being, encapsulating the idea of embracing change, growth, and transformation as inherent parts of the human experience. When you find yourself standing in the unknown, a threshold of what was and what will be.
Liminal Life Integration offers grounded, integrative support for those moving through life’s thresholds, where the old has fallen away and the next is not yet clear.
Here, we listen to the body, soul, nature and the quiet intelligence of becoming.

I will meet you where you are at.
Hi, I’m Sandra.
I come to this work from a deep curiosity and respect for the complexity of being human. I know what it is to move through seasons of uncertainty, grief, and inner change — and to long for a space where nothing needs to be rushed or explained away.
My approach is slow, relational, and body-centered. I trust that your system carries its own wisdom, even when things feel disorienting. Together, we create a space of curiosity, consent, and nervous-system safety where you can arrive just as you are — without performance, urgency, or expectation.
This work is rooted in presence, humility, and a genuine care for the thresholds we all cross in this human experience.

Services

1–1
Liminal Life
Somatic Sessions
Individual sessions offering mindful, somatic support for life transitions, emotional overwhelm, identity shifts, and moments of inner reorientation. This work may support experiences such as relocation, relationship changes, health challenges, spiritual openings, or vocational transitions—times when the ground beneath you is shifting and deeper listening is needed.
1–1
Holistic
Grief Guidance
Compassionate, integrative support for those moving through grief, loss, and bereavement—whether related to the death of a loved one, anticipatory grief, ambiguous loss, or profound life endings. Sessions honor grief as a natural, relational process that
unfolds in its own time and
deserves attentive care.
Elemental
Embodiment
Series
This signature 6 week series is an immersive somatic exploration of the five elements experienced internally through the body, the senses and externally in relationship with the natural world. Rooted in Hakomi-informed mindful somatic practice, nature-based therapy, and the elemental wisdom of Ayurveda, this series invites participants to explore how the elements live within their nervous system, sensory organs, emotional patterns, and inner rhythms.

This work is for you if…
You are navigating grief, life transitions, or inner change and feel called to move slowly, consciously, and with depth. You may be seeking a more embodied, soulful approach to healing—one that honors the nervous system, the body, and the wisdom that emerges when we feel safely accompanied. This work is especially supportive if you are:
-
Moving through grief, loss, or anticipatory grief.
-
Experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or a sense of disconnection.
-
At a life threshold—identity shifts, endings, spiritual openings, or reorientation.
-
Struggling with cultural confusion, cross-cultural identity, or belonging.
-
Curious about somatic therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, or psychedelic integration.
-
Longing for a space where your experience can be met with compassion, patience, and presence.
This work may not be for you if…
You are looking for quick fixes, directive advice, or symptom-focused treatment without exploration of the body and inner experience. This is not crisis intervention or clinical care for acute psychiatric needs.

What is LIMINAL ?
Liminal spaces are the in‑between places of life — the pause between who you were and who you are becoming.
They arise through loss and love, illness and healing, endings and awakenings,
choice points and reckonings.
In these spaces, clarity does not come from force or fixing. It comes from presence, patience, and the body’s quiet intelligence.
Liminal Life Integration is devoted to supporting people through these thresholds with care that honors the whole person —
mind, body, spirit, and the natural world we belong to.

Land Acknowledgement
I live and work with gratitude for the lands that have shaped my life. I acknowledge the unceded, traditional, and ancestral territory of the Wei Wai Kai (Cape Mudge) and Wei Wai Kum (Campbell River) Nations of the Laichwiltach people, within the Coast Salish and Kwakwaka'wakw linguistic groups, where I work and reside.
I also acknowledge that for 16 years I lived, worked, and grew in Pescadero, Baja California Sur, Mexico on land shaped by ancient Indigenous histories, including the Pericú, Guaycura, and Cochimí peoples, whose relationships with desert, sea, and sky stretch back millennia.
As someone whose sense of belonging has been formed through lived experience rather than ancestral lineage, I offer this acknowledgement with humility, gratitude, and respect for all of the land I have traveled across and its teachings.
This work honors the wisdom of the body and the slow intelligence of becoming
— held within relationship, land, and time.
